Mya On Monday

Week 2 and Mya has changed a ton.
She is smiling so much.
Started to stare at big objects and things with lots of color or lights.
Mya absolutely loves the Christmas Tree, I am afraid to take it down.
She is starting to look at the person who is holding her and learning their faces.
Mya sleeps 4 1/2 hours straight during the night.
She only wakes up at 4 and right before dad leaves for work at 6.
She still is stealing our hearts every second of the day and even the night.
She went in for her 10 day check up, weighing in at 7lbs 6oz (gaining a whole pound since her 4 day
visit), and measuring 19 1/2 inches, (shrinking and inch from the hospitals measurements).
She is both 25% for the height and weight.
We are extremely blessed with how easy this little lady has been.

Mya On Monday

Yes, I know it's Tuesday not Monday but I didn't get around to posting yesterday. Little Mya has grown and changed so much this week. She had her first doctors appointment on Thursday, finally got milk on Friday and her little cord fell off Sunday. She keeps Brian and I laughing all day with the funny faces she makes and her little but loud farts that wake us up in the middle of the night, that don't stink, YET. She sleeps so good at night she only wakes up once around 3 and then again around 6 when dad leaves for work. She eats great and is hardly ever fussy. So far we have a pretty easy baby. But, don't let that fool you the first 3 days were ruthless, exhausting and emotional (well, that's been the whole week). Brian and I have learned so much already and we love being parents. Our little girl is such a sweet blessing to the both of us. She has made our love for each other grow stronger and has brought such joy and light in our home.

Joy

I Thank My Heavenly Father

Usually when you ask Heavenly Father for a few blessings it's more than likely your asking to travel safely, have a good day at work, help the sick, be with the missionaries, bless the prophet and give you strength and nourishment from your dinner. Years ago when I asked my Heavenly Father to bless me with a man that will be my eternal companion, take care of me, love me for me, and have all the qualities I have dreamed about I never knew who he would send my way. Brian came to me in the perfect time. He is my light and my world. He has given me more love then I had asked for. He is my eternal companion. He is my life. We asked Heavenly Father to bless us with a healthy happy baby and when Mya came to us on Monday December 13th I never knew I could love someone else so much as I do Brian. These two are my everything. I can't ever thank my Heavenly Father enough for these to amazing blessings. I think he took extra care in who he was going to send to me. He chose for me the best angels had. I love my two babies and I am so thankful for their love and warmth I get in their presence. Brian and Mya will always be mine forever. It is so comforting to know that I have made the right decision in marrying the man of my dreams and being able to be with my husband and children for eternity.

Belly Pics

Jamie's friend Andrea was so nice to do some quick belly pictures done. I figured Mya is taking her time so might as well attempt to do some pictures. These are just a couple of them I'm going through the others and editing them some more. THANK YOU, ANDREA!!! And Jamie too for helping!

Monday, December 6

Fourty weeks
It has officially come and only a couple more hours until it has gone. The due date: The projected date that Mya was supposed to be here. We are 40 weeks along today. Dr. Bartels said today that my cervix is still not in favor of inducing. I am still only dilated to a 1 and he stripped me a little bit more today. But, so far no progress. I have an appointment next Monday to be induced. But, of coarse we are still in hope that she will come before then.

Car-seat Canopies

I know, the belly picture, Really??? Yes, Brian couldn't resist. He thought that it was so cute that I was sitting there nesting making the flowers with my belly hanging out of my shirt. Any who, so I made these car-seat canopies to go over Mya's car-seat. They turned out so cute and a lot better than I thought they would. I love them and can't wait to see how cute they are with a little girl underneath them.

Come On Mya...

We are sick and tired of waiting around for you to get here!!!! Mostly just tired. Please, just come out already!

Chocolate Carmel Covered Pretzels

That's what mom and I made last night for our sugar craving. But, I decided to send it to work with Brian for a little Thank You for his co-workers for the gifts and baby shower they threw for him. Don't think we didn't have our fair share of them though. They turned out so good!

Felsted's Come To Visit

While the family was here for Thanksgiving we did lots and lots of walking, waiting and hanging out waiting to see if Mya was going to plan on coming early. We had Thanksgiving dinner, did a couple Black-Friday deals, walked malls just to walk, went to the Mesa Temple lights, ate at Johnny Rockets and said good-bye to the fam when they all had to go back home. Brian got tickets for the some of the family to go see the Suns play while they were here. They all said that they had so much fun and from what I hear Dillan had the time of his life. They went down to the game early so they could walk around and see all of the attractions and the Suns dancers.
